Important Concepts:
Resolution: Resolution is the amount of pixel detail in an image. When designing packaging, you should save it at a higher resolution. 300dpi is recommended.
Dieline: Every packaging order requires a Dieline or the flattened pattern of your packaging used during layout.
Size: Min open size 13 x16 cm, Max open size 70 x100 cm & Min panel size 3 cm.
Bleed: Bleed is the area around your artwork that is trimmed off. This allows your design to look as if it was printed to the edge, even when the cutting alignment was slightly off. Your bleed should always extend to at least 5mm.
For the best results, use professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. Also, ensure that your closed artwork file respects all the items on the checklist for closing your artwork. If you are not comfortable with the respective design software, we recommend giving our professional design services a try. This is crucial, as a poor design can, in fact, harm the overall impact of your packaging printing and brand.

Paper may be the oldest form of what today is referred to as “flexible packaging.” Sheets of treated mulberry bark were used by the Chinese to wrap foods as early as the first or second century B.C. The first commercial cardboard box was produced in England in 1817, more than 200 years after the Chinese invented cardboard. Corrugated paper appeared in the 1850s; about 1900, shipping cartons of faced corrugated paperboard began to replace self-made wooden crates and boxes used for trade.
