Ensure that your logo is clear and one colour, easily legible at a smaller size and will stand out on the black material of the pens. Be sure to keep the design simple and easy to understand. For the best results, use professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. Also, ensure that your saved artwork file adheres to all the items on our print-ready artwork checklist. If you are not comfortable with the respective design software, we recommend you make use of our professional design services. Our design process is fully automated and very efficient!
MINIMUM ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS FOR BRANDED PENS: • Font Size: 8pt • 300dpi image quality • CMYK Colour Mode • Remember to convert text to paths OR Convert artwork to Jpeg • Bleed: Product size +6mm • Logo must be one colour.

Printulu offers 3 different pen types:
• Neo Pen - These pens come with black German ink, and branding is available via pad printing. They are made from sturdy black plastic material. They are equipped with a retractable mechanism with one click, as well as a rubber grip for comfortable writing.
• Ridge Pen - Equipped with a grooved grip area for comfortable writing. Branding is available via pad printing. These pens are supplied with black German ink and are made from a sturdy plastic material. Retractable mechanism with one click included.
• Rhombus Ball Point Pen - Brandable via pad printing. These pens are made out of copper and are available in black.

A student in Paris, Romanian Petrache Poenaru invented the fountain pen, which the French Government patented in May 1827. Fountain pen patents and production then increased in the 1850s. The first patent on a ballpoint pen was issued on October 30, 1888, to John J Loud.
